I always wanted a Chevy Chevelle SS.  I was enticed by the body changes in the 1970 series and the available power in the 6 and 8 cylinder engine options.  Having so many styling options and engine configurations made the Chevelle “America’s most popular mid-size car”

I saw my first street race with my friends in front of the high school: a 1971 Mustang against my favorite, the SS.  Ford Mustangs between ‘67 and ‘73 got bigger but not necessarily more powerful. The SS was a monster, easily beating the Mustang in about a quarter-mile

Fast forward to 2019:

The opening of MPW Restorations and Auto Service.

I now live my dream by restoring classic cars such as the 1954 Chevy Bel-Air.  The very popular Bel-Air series were built from 1950 to 1981. The early series featuring prominent tail fins are often featured in TV shows and movies because of how recognizable they were for the era.

I’ve repaired and rebuilt engines in everything from 1950 Bel-Airs to electrical systems on a 2018 Mazarati GranCarbio.
